OSI Systems Developer/Architect Job

Our client is a national Systems Integrator based in St. Louis, MO with technical delivery resources spread through-out North America. The company provides complete industrial automation process control projects and Manufacturing Execution Systems/Information services projects from conceptual design through commissioning. It was named Control Systems Integrator of the Year for 2010 by Control Engineering Magazine.
 
Our client is looking to add “OSI Systems Developer/Architects” to their “all-star” team to work on challenging projects in a unique working environment. Ideal candidates would have:
 
  • Minimum of Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience within plant floor information management systems integration and design.
  • Experience designing and implementing OSI PI based solutions
  • Experience with Asset Framework and/or Event Frame based OSI solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communications, and organizational skills
  • Prior technical Project Lead/Project Management experience required
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
  • Strong background in MES application development for process industry required
  • Demonstrated understanding of ISA-95 and other MES standards
  • Experience defining and documenting requirements, developing system strategies and architectures, and implementing those systems
  • Understanding of the process control layer for modeling is required
  • Onsite implementation and commissioning experience desired
  • B.S. in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience/knowledge
  • Live in or around a metropolitan area and be a citizen of the US
  • Ability to travel to end customer location on a routine basis

These systems utilize technologies from Wonderware, Rockwell Software, OSI Soft, and Microsoft such as .NET, XML, OSI PI, Visual Basic, IIS, & MSSQL Server. Many systems utilize web based visualization.
