Robotics Controls Engineer - Fanuc robots

Job Objective:
  • Create programs utilizing Fanuc software for robotic packaging/palletizing applications
  • Develop PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
  • Create I/O list and work with electrical designers to develop electrical schematics.
  • Commission, test and debug robotic systems at facility.
  • Ensure electrical standards are followed in controls designs.
  • Provide technical support for electrical controls and troubleshooting for customers both in the field and telephone troubleshooting.
  • Travel as required (usually around 20%)
  • Knowledge of robotic applications and components including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, misc I/O devices, VFDs, servos, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision and various industrial networks.
  • Proficient in Fanuc programming software (pallet tool or handling tool) AB RsLogix500, RsLogix5000 and FactoryTalk Studio ME.
  • Ability to work independently and well with others.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft’s Office products (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics and read 2D & 3D AutoCad mechanical drawings.
  • 2 year degree in related field
