This position is responsible for controls engineering project requirements involving control system design, PLC and HMI programming, instrumentation; check out support and start-up assistance.

Engineering responsibilities include:
1. Designs, develops, and implements control system (logic software and hardware). 
2. Develops control logic software and user interface applications.
3. Develops schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software.
4. Will assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of system documentation and validation.
5. Individual will be working on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as pharmaceutical, food and beverage or others.
6. May act as lead on some projects and guide lower level engineers and technicians.
7. Experience with pharmaceutical validation is also desired.
 An in-depth understanding of control systems, components, ladder logic programming (i.e. Allen Bradley, GE, Modicon, Siemens) and/or SCADA is required. SCADA programming and their applications (i.e. Rockwell, Wonderware, GE, Ignition).

Qualifications: 
  •   2+ years of process controls experience
  •   BS degree in an Engineering discipline
  •   PLC and HMI programming experience
  •   Experience in Food or Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or other similar industries.
