Hydraulic Engineer

Our client  leverages nearly 40 years of engineering and manufacturing experience to produce high-quality hydraulic press systems for a wide range of industries and applications. They work in a variety of industries including aerospace & defense, energy/oil & gas, automotive, construction, agricultural and more ranging from small, independent manufacturers to multi-national corporations with global footprints. 
Their team is expanding and in need of a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join them. This individual will be part of the engineering team designing and drafting hydraulic systems/schematics in the producing of our high-quality hydraulic press and automation systems.
  • Designs and drafts hydraulic systems/schematics for machines and equipment
  • Provides technical support during manufacturing, assembly and startup
  • Prepares detailed instructions for manufacturing and assembly along with operating instructions for customers
  • Aids customer run-offs/demonstrations and technical point of contact
  • Assists in spearheading training initiatives for company technical capabilities
  • Minimum of 5 years as a hydraulic systems engineer
  • Certified Fluid Power Specialist Hydraulic Specialist (CFPSHS)
  • Related degree/certification or equivalent experience
  • Superior technical abilities
  • Experience in schematic design
  • Knowledge of Solidworks a plus
  • CAD experience
  • Position requires equal time in manufacturing plant as well as the office
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
