Solution Sales Engineer - SCADA and MES

Data-driven technology solutions using the power of Industrial Data, Big Data and the Internet of Things are provided by this stable and growing company.  A solution sales person is needed with SCADA and MES, automated manufacturing, water/wastewater, or automotive background to lead the sales team to create innovative automated solutions to clients in the Michigan and Western Ohio areas. This is a consultative sales approach so determining the type of solutions needed by your customer is key.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Working with existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining and cultivating contacts with referral sources
  • Assisting company to develop long-term customer relationships
  • Assisting in proposal generation
  • Working with clients/prospects via phone and in person
  • Assisting in generating solution architectures
  • Identifying business leads/cold calling
  • Keeping up-to-date with product advancements and market need

 Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable
  • 3-5 years experience, automation manufacturing industry preferred
  • Willing and able to travel
